On June 30, the Overseas Security Supply-Demand Symposium, hosted by the Overseas Security Committee of Zhejiang Security Association and organized by Hanwei International Security Guard Co., Ltd., was held at Hanwei's Jiuzhou Training Base. The meeting was attended by Fu Zhifang, Secretary-General of Zhejiang Security Association, Chen Jian, Deputy Secretary-General of Zhejiang International Contractors Association, Wen Jinrong, Director of the Ocean Research Center of China Foundation for International Studies, and 32 representatives from both supply and demand sides of overseas security.
During the meeting, representatives from both sides discussed how to strengthen cooperation and put forward many targeted and practical suggestions. Chao Yang, Senior Supervisor of Overseas Anti-Terrorism Security and HSE Office of CNPC, and Zhou Zhanggui from Zhejiang University's Research Center for Non-Traditional Security and Peaceful Development delivered keynote speeches titled 'CNPC's International Business Security Management Practices' and 'Best Practices for Resolving Overseas Security Risks' respectively.
