On November 30, the 2018 work conference of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Zhao Ming, Director and Country Manager of Hanwei International Security Escort Co., Ltd.'s Sri Lanka branch, attended the conference as the company's representative.
At the conference, Zhang Xiaoqiang, President of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and General Manager of China Harbour Engineering Company's Sri Lanka Regional Company, delivered the 2018 work report of the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka. He summarized the chamber's work over the past year and presented the work plan for 2019, covering aspects such as event organization, external cooperation, and internal development. Subsequently, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan delivered an enthusiastic speech. He pointed out that 2018 has been an extraordinary year for China-Sri Lanka economic and trade relations. Under the unified leadership of the embassy, Chinese enterprises in Sri Lanka have actively studied Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Xi Jinping's Thought on Diplomacy, resolutely upholding the "Two Safeguards," firmly establishing the "Four Consciousnesses," and strengthening the "Four Confidences." The development of Chinese enterprises in Sri Lanka has reached a new level.
Zhao Ming stated that the achievements Hanwei has made in Sri Lanka in recent years are inseparable from the long-term support and guidance of the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Chinese Enterprise Chamber of Commerce. In future work and study, Hanwei's team will take the opportunity to implement the spirit of this conference, focus on the main axis of overseas work, comprehensively enhance overseas project construction, fulfill job responsibilities, shoulder social responsibilities, adhere to the company's fundamental purpose, and provide security escort services for Chinese enterprises overseas.
