Union Activity|Look, We're in a Tug of War
On the afternoon of November 30th, the West Lake Street Trade Union held a grand and lively tug-of-war competition. The participants consisted of union members from various units under the street, totaling 30 competing teams. After intense rounds of 30 to 15, 15 to 8, 8 to 4, and 4 to 2, our company's delegation ultimately achieved the fourth-place result.
Competition Scene
Our tug-of-war team was originally planned to be composed of教官力量 with strong capabilities, but due to conflicts with anti-terrorism training arrangements, we had to form a temporary team, jokingly referred to as the "weak and disabled" team by others. Pale-faced Lin was even asked by the street leader on-site, "Why are you so pale? Do you need to rest and drink some water?" Luo, who rarely exercises, said today's tug-of-war used up all her lifetime's exercise. Skinny Zhou looked like he could be blown away by the wind. Always smiling and super gentle Wu. Elderly Yang, with his steady stance, was praised by the staff as "Master, you're amazing." Zhenyu, who joked that he didn't perform well in the first round but gave his all in the following rounds. Fortunately, we also had the tall and strong Diao and Chen, whose presence made us feel like we had a solid backing. Maybe today wouldn't just be a walk-through!
Other Teams' Highlights
This tug-of-war competition showcased the positive spirit of the employees in West Lake Street, further enhancing their cohesion, centripetal force, and combat effectiveness.
