On the same day, the vehicle carrying the Assistant Commissioner of Bannu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province was attacked by armed men, resulting in the death of the commissioner, 2 accompanying police officers and 1 civilian, 2 police officers injured, and the vehicle burned down. On December 3, a police convoy was attacked by unknown armed men with grenades and gunfire in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in northwestern Pakistan, killing 3 police officers. Attack in South Gyeongsang Province kills 3 and injures 1. On December 3, a man attacked 3 middle school students with a weapon in a hotel in Changwon City, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, killing 2 students and seriously injuring 1 other. The attacker then jumped out of a window from the hotel building and committed suicide. At present, the motive and identity of the attacker are unknown, and the South Korean police have launched an investigation.
Explosion at Gyeonggi-do military base injures 4. On December 2, an explosion occurred at an army training ground in Paju City, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, injuring 4 people.
