According to security risk assessments, the security levels of various regions are as shown on the global risk map, with Afghanistan, Nigeria, Myanmar, Pakistan, Ukraine, Palestine, and Israel being extremely high-risk areas. During this period, frequent security incidents such as armed conflicts and terrorist attacks occurred in these regions, requiring overseas Chinese enterprises to enhance their security precautions. Middle East Region
(1) Syria
Border crossings attacked by Israeli airstrikes, resulting in 6 deaths and 32 injuries.On November 25 and 27, multiple land border crossings in Syria's Homs and Tartus provinces adjacent to Lebanon were targeted by Israeli military airstrikes, causing a total of 6 deaths and 32 injuries. On the 25th, the Israeli military launched multiple airstrikes from Lebanon on the Hosn land crossing in the Qusayr area of Homs Province, injuring 2 civilians and damaging several bridges and properties. On the 27th, the western land border crossings in Homs Province were again attacked by Israeli airstrikes, killing 2 soldiers, 1 Syrian Red Crescent volunteer, and 3 civilians, with 12 others injured. On the same day, the Alida border crossing in Tartus Province adjacent to Lebanon was also hit by Israeli airstrikes, injuring 18 people.
Aleppo government military positions attacked by opposition forces.From November 27 to 30, government military positions in western Aleppo and Idlib, Syria, came under large-scale attacks by thousands of opposition fighters and extremist group members. Subsequently, fierce clashes erupted between Syrian government forces, Russian troops stationed in Syria, and opposition forces, resulting in heavy casualties on both sides. By November 30, opposition forces had seized control of Aleppo International Airport and other locations, leading to the complete shutdown of Aleppo's government institutions and schools. That evening, government forces, supported by Russian Aerospace Forces, launched counterattacks against opposition gathering areas, control stations, warehouses, and artillery positions, killing at least 300 militants. Clashes between the two sides continue.
(2) Iraq
Turkish cross-border operation kills 8 PKK members. On November 26, Turkish security forces killed 8 members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) during the "Claw-Lock" military operation in northern Iraq. Since April 2022, Turkish security forces have been conducting the "Claw-Lock" operation against local Kurdish armed groups in northern Iraq.
(3) Palestine and Israel
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict has resulted in over 44,300Palestinian deaths.From November 25 to December 1, the Israeli Defense Forces continued to launch airstrikes on central and southern Gaza, resulting in significant Palestinian casualties. As of December 1, the latest round of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has claimed the lives of 44,382 Palestinians and injured 105,142. Among these, Israeli military operations in multiple areas of Gaza on December 1 alone killed 19 Palestinians and wounded 72. Additionally, one staff member of Save the Children and three staff members of the charity organization World Central Kitchen were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Younis in southern Gaza on November 30. The international community and Save the Children strongly condemned the attack and called for an investigation.

(4) Lebanon
Lebanon and Israel reached a ceasefire agreement.On November 26, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon had reached a ceasefire agreement, which took effect at 4:00 a.m. local time on November 27. After the ceasefire came into effect, thousands of displaced Lebanese residents began returning to their homes in southern Lebanon. However, on November 29, Hezbollah facilities in southern Lebanon were again targeted by Israeli airstrikes. This marked the first airstrike since the ceasefire.

(5) Turkey
231 individuals linked to the Kurds were arrested.dishaffiliated personnel.From November 24 to 27, Turkish security forces conducted operations against Kurdish armed groups in 30 provinces across the country, arresting 231 individuals associated with these groups and seizing a large number of unlicensed firearms and other weapons.
Asia-Pacific Region
(1) Afghanistan
Chinese citizens in Afghanistan urged to enhance security precautions.On November 27, media reports indicated that anti-Taliban forces in Afghanistan had recently conducted reconnaissance on Chinese citizens in Badakhshan and Takhar provinces, posing a potential risk of attacks targeting Chinese nationals. Anti-Taliban groups in Afghanistan, such as the Islamic State Khorasan Province (IS-K), the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), the National Resistance Front (NRF), and the Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF), are attempting to undermine the Taliban's governance environment and erode foreign investor confidence by carrying out violent attacks. Therefore, Chinese enterprises and citizens in Afghanistan are advised to strengthen security measures, avoid high-risk areas, and refrain from participating in activities that may trigger security issues.
(2) Pakistan
Protests escalate into clashes, leaving 6 dead and multiple injured.On November 25, protests erupted in the outskirts of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, and in Punjab Province, initiated by supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. During the protests, violent clashes broke out between demonstrators and police, resulting in the deaths of 6 police officers, over 100 PTI members injured, and 22 police vehicles burned.
Multiple attacks leave 2 dead and 1 injured.On November 26, a truck on the Wana-Kari Kot road in South Waziristan, Pakistan, was hit by a remote-controlled bomb, injuring one member of a peace committee. On November 27, the Lakhani checkpoint in DG Khan, Punjab, came under heavy weapon fire from dozens of terrorists. A subsequent exchange of gunfire occurred, with casualties unknown. On the same day, a shooting incident in the Darneli area of tehsil Naal, Khuzdar, Balochistan, left 2 dead. The perpetrators fled the scene, and police are investigating the case.
(3) Myanmar
Bhamo Airport in Kachin State attacked. On November 26, Bhamo Airport in Bhamo Township, Kachin State, Myanmar, was struck by rocket and artillery fire from unidentified armed groups, damaging the runway and some buildings, leading to the airport's closure and flight cancellations.
Attack on village council office in Laytawk Province injures 4.On November 25, media reported that on the 24th, the village council office in A Yushan Village, Ye Township, Laytawk Province, Myanmar, was shot at by members of the 'Ye Raksa' organization, injuring 4 people. That day, two armed assailants drove to the office and opened fire, wounding the village head, a militia member, and two villagers who had come to donate. The identities of the attackers remain unknown.
(4) Indonesia
Flash floods and landslides in North Sumatra kill 19 and injure 25.From November 23 to 26, heavy rainfall triggered flash floods and landslides in four southern districts of North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. As of now, the disaster has claimed 19 lives, injured 25, destroyed multiple houses, damaged 150 buildings, and severed some roads and bridges.

(1) Nigeria
Multiple attacks result in 47 deaths and 9 kidnappingsOn November 24, armed kidnappers attacked the Tudunwada and Gyogob communities in the Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau State, abducting at least 6 people. Late on November 24 to the early hours of November 25, suspected Fulani armed herdsmen attacked multiple villages in the Logo and Katsina-Ala Local Government Areas of Benue State, killing approximately 32 villagers. On November 26, the terrorist group Boko Haram attacked the military 'Operation Hadin Kai' 101 Special Forces camp in Kukawa town, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, resulting in the deaths of 3 soldiers and 12 terrorists. On the same day, unidentified gunmen attacked the Nnewi community in the Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, kidnapping 3 residents.
Shipwreck accident leaves 27 dead and over 100 missing.On November 29, a boat carrying about 200 people capsized while traveling from Kogi State to Niger State in Nigeria, killing at least 27 people and leaving over 100 missing. Rescue efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining missing individuals. The cause of the shipwreck remains unknown.
(2) South Africa
Pretoria crowd clash leaves 1 injured.On November 25, a clash broke out between local residents and Somalis in the Atteridgeville area of Pretoria, South Africa, leaving 1 person injured. The incident occurred when locals gathered to protest in front of a Somali-owned supermarket, demanding its closure. During the demonstration, arguments and physical altercations ensued. Somalis retaliated by firing shots, injuring 1 person. Currently, 4 Somalis have been arrested by the police.
(3) Central African Republic
Attack in Vakaga Province leaves 10 dead.On November 26, an armed attack occurred in the Vakaga Province of the Central African Republic, killing at least 10 civilians. Six motorcycle drivers transporting four clergy members were ambushed during the journey, resulting in the deaths of both the drivers and passengers. The motorcycles were also burned. No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
(4) Ethiopia
Grenade attack in Amhara State leaves 1 dead. On November 25, media reported that a senior official of the ruling party in Mota town, Gojjam zone, Amhara State, Ethiopia, was killed in a grenade attack on November 23. The identity of the attacker remains unknown.
(5) Zimbabwe
Chinese enterprise camp in Mashonaland Central Province robbed.On November 24, media reported that a robbery occurred at the camp of a Chinese mining company in Shamva, Mashonaland Central Province, Zimbabwe on the 23rd, with no casualties among Chinese personnel. On the same day, two knife-wielding assailants forcibly broke into the "Yingcan" company in Cadogan town to commit robbery. Security personnel first fired warning shots, then killed one assailant and injured another. This marks the third robbery incident targeting Chinese company camps in the country recently.
(6) Democratic Republic of the Congo
Protest against Chinese mining company in Haut-Katanga Province。On November 25, residents of villages such as Kifita, Kilongo, and Ntentema in Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, launched a protest against a local Chinese mining company, demanding higher wages, improved working conditions, and protection of the nearby ecological environment. During the protest, villagers set up roadblocks and burned tires to block traffic, expressing their dissatisfaction with the company.
(7) Sudan
Conflict continues.From November 25 to December 1, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces continued intense clashes in areas around the capital Khartoum,the western city of Omdurman, and multiple fronts in the central region, resulting in heavy casualties on both sides and among civilians. As of November 28, the ongoing armed conflict, which has lasted over a year, has caused approximately 27,100 deaths, 43,000 injuries, and displaced more than 11.8 million people.
New cholera outbreak claims 1,180 lives.On November 26, the Sudanese Ministry of Health issued a statement saying that as of November 26, the new cholera outbreak had reported a cumulative total of 42,725 infections, including 1,180 deaths. The infections and deaths occurred in 81 localities across 11 states. New cases were mainly concentrated in Kassala and Gedaref states in the east and the Nile state in the north.
Europe and America
(1) United States
Two shootings result in 2 deaths and 2 injuries.On November 25, a shooting occurred in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California, resulting in 1 death and 1 injury; on November 26, a shooting in Greenville, Texas, left 1 police officer dead and 1 injured. According to the latest statistics from the U.S. "Gun Violence Archive" website, since 2024, more than 15,200 people have died in various gun violence incidents in the U.S., with over 29,100 injured.
(2) Ukraine
Russia-Ukraine armed conflict continuesFrom November 25 to December 1, Russia's special military operation in Ukraine continued. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past week, the Russian military conducted 32 rounds of strikes using precision-guided weapons and drones against Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises, energy facilities, military airfields, as well as drone production and storage facilities. Russian air defense systems intercepted 10 U.S.-made Army Tactical Missile System missiles and 353 drones of various types during the week. In the Donetsk direction, Russian forces took control of two settlements. On the Kursk front, Russian troops repelled several Ukrainian attacks. On the Ukrainian side, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Ukrainian forces targeted Russian command posts, ammunition depots, and troop concentrations in multiple directions during the week, repelling hundreds of Russian assaults. Additionally, Ukrainian forces attacked the Atlas oil depot in Russia's Rostov Oblast and destroyed a Russian Buk air defense system radar station in the Zaporizhzhia region, along with three radar stations in Crimea.
(3) Ecuador
Two attacks resulted in 11 deaths.On November 28, a shooting occurred in the La Aurora community of Machala, El Oro Province, Ecuador, killing one man. Police are currently investigating the case. On December 1,an armed attack in El Guabo City, El Oro Province in the south left at least10 people dead. That day,a group of armed men indiscriminately fired into a rented house in the La Victoria district of El Guabo City, killing at least10 people. Police stated that the attack may be related to conflicts between organized crime gangs.

(4) Russia
Multiple regions attacked by Ukraine, resulting in 1 death and 3 injuries.On November 25, Russia's Belgorod Oblast, Shebekino district, was hit by a Ukrainian missile strike, killing one person and injuring another, with damage to three apartment buildings, a public facility, and a garage. The same day, Ukrainian forces launched 13 British Storm Shadow cruise missiles at targets including the Kursk Oblast airport and air defense systems. Ten were intercepted by Russian forces, while three hit their targets, injuring two soldiers and destroying military equipment. On November 29, Russia's Rostov Oblast, Bryansk Oblast, Belgorod Oblast, Voronezh Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and Crimea were subjected to a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack, damaging several private residences, with no reported casualties.
