Middle East Region
(1) Syria
U.S. military base in Hasakah Province attacked.On June 23, an unidentified armed group attacked the U.S. military base in the Qasruk area of western Hasakah Province, Syria, with no casualties reported.
Damascus targets terrorists.On June 23, Syria's counterterrorism unit conducted an operation in the suburbs of the capital Damascus against ISIS terrorists responsible for the previous day's church attack, killing 2, arresting 1 leader and 5 members, and seizing multiple explosive vests and a large cache of weapons and ammunition.
(2) Iraq
Military base attacked.On June 24, unidentified armed groups launched suicide drone attacks on the Taji Camp north of Baghdad and the Imam Ali radar facility in Dhi Qar Province, Iraq, causing severe damage to multiple facilities but no casualties.
Two ISIS militants killed in Kirkuk Province.On June 25, Iraq's counterterrorism forces targeted an ISIS hideout in a remote mountainous area of northern Kirkuk Province, resulting in the deaths of 2 ISIS militants.
(3) Palestine and Israel
Palestinian-Israeli conflict has claimed 56,300 Palestinian livesFrom June 23 to 29, the Israeli military continued its attacks on the southern and central Gaza Strip, resulting in a large number of casualties. On the 24th, the Israeli army launched an assault on a crowd waiting to receive aid near the Wadi Gaza area in the central Gaza Strip, killing 19 Palestinians and injuring 146. As of June 27, since the outbreak of the latest round of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Israeli military operations in Gaza have caused 56,331 Palestinian deaths and 132,632 injuries. UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned on the 27th that Israel's military actions have brought the humanitarian crisis in Gaza to a "shocking level" and reiterated his call for an immediate ceasefire.

Two attacks in the Gaza Strip resulted in 7 Israeli soldiers dead and 2 injured.On June 24, an armored vehicle of the Israeli 605th Combat Engineering Battalion was hit by an explosive attack from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, killing one lieutenant and six non-commissioned officers. On the same day, a bulldozer driven by two soldiers of the Israeli Engineering Battalion was struck by a Hamas rocket in Khan Younis, leaving two Israeli soldiers severely wounded.
Houthi forces launched missiles at Israel.On June 26, the Israel Defense Forces reported that Yemen's Houthi forces had fired a ballistic missile at Israel. The missile exploded before entering Israeli territory, causing no casualties or property damage. Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Yemeni Houthi forces, stated on June 26 that since mid-March, the group had launched 309 ballistic and hypersonic missiles at Israel.
(4) Iran and Israel
Ceasefire agreement jointly signed.On June 24, Iran and Israel signed a ceasefire agreement. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israel had eliminated the dual threat of Iranian nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles, severely damaged Iran's military leadership, destroyed dozens of key Iranian targets, and achieved a "historic victory." Iranian President Pezeshkian declared that "Iran has won the final victory in this war initiated by Israel." Over the past 12 days, Iran's armed forces launched strong counterattacks against Israel, inflicting heavy damage on its critical facilities and thwarting Israel's plot to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities. Regarding casualties, Iran's Health Ministry reported that Israeli attacks across Iran since the 13th had killed 627 and injured 4,870. Israel Army Radio stated that the conflict had resulted in 28 Israeli deaths and 3,238 injuries.
(5) Lebanon
An Israeli airstrike in the south killed 4 and injured 13.On June 27, the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon was hit by 20 Israeli airstrikes, triggering multiple fires, resulting in 1 death, 11 injuries, and damage to several buildings. On June 28, an Israeli drone strike targeted a car in the town of Kounine in southern Lebanon, killing 1 member of Hezbollah and injuring another. The same day, an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle in the town of Maharouna in southern Lebanon, killing 2 and injuring 1.
(6) Yemen
The Houthi group announced continued military operations against Israel.On June 24, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthi Political Bureau, issued a statement via social media, declaring that the group would continue military operations against Israel "until Israel stops its aggression on Gaza and the blockade is lifted."
Asia-Pacific Region
(1) Pakistan
Multiple attacks resulted in numerous casualties.On June 23, media reported that Karachi police in Sindh Province engaged in a shootout with a gang of robbers near Veta Chowrangi and Godam Chowrangi in the Korangi industrial area on June 22, killing 3 robbers. On June 22,Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Provincenearly 30 attacks occurred in areas such as Bajaur District, Swabi County, and Mardan County in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, primarily targeting police stations and patrol convoys, causing significant casualties. After the incidents, the Pakistani Taliban and Baloch insurgents claimed responsibility for 27 of the attacks.
An attack on security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province killed 13 and injured 29.On June 28, Pakistani security forces were attacked by armed militants in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, resulting in at least 13 soldiers killed and 29 injured. That day, militants detonated a suicide car bomb near a security forces' bomb disposal vehicle and then opened fire on the troops. A subordinate faction of the terrorist group "Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan" later claimed responsibility for the attack.
(2) Australia
Two attacks injured 4 people. On June 24, a knife attack at a Kmart supermarket in Mount Druitt, Sydney, New South Wales, injured 3 people. The same day, police in Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane, Queensland, were attacked by 2 suspects on a stolen motorcycle while attempting to intercept them, injuring 1 officer.
(3) Qatar
A U.S. military base was attacked by Iran.On June 23, the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, located about 35 kilometers southwest of Doha, the capital, was attacked by Iran with a total of 19 missiles in two rounds, resulting in no casualties or material damage. Iran stated that the attack was in retaliation for the U.S. military's strike on its nuclear facilities.
(4) Malaysia
36 extremist group members arrested.On June 27, Malaysian police dismantled an extremist group suspected of plotting to overthrow the government of Bangladesh, arresting 36 members in Johor, Selangor, and other locations. All members were Bangladeshi nationals, accused of crimes including forming an organization, spreading extremist ideologies, raising funds for terrorist activities, and attempting to overthrow "the legitimate government of their homeland."

Multiple attacks resulted in 82 deaths, and 3 people, including a Chinese citizen, were kidnapped.According to monitoring reports from Hanwei International's security officers in West Africa and media coverage,6June22Kogi State, Nigeria,Yagba EastLocal Government Area, akidnappingincident occurred,resulting ina Chinese citizen beingkidnappedand a local police officerkilled.At the time of the incident, a team composed of police and civil defense personnel was escorting an employee of a Chinese company when they cameunderheavy gunfire from the kidnappers.Currently,the whereabouts of the kidnapped Chinese citizenremain unknown,and securityforcesstillunder search;6 June24 , a group of armed militants attacked theBarutenLocal Government Area'sOkutacommunity, resulting in the deaths of two local residents; on the same day, terrorists raided a military base in theMarigaLocal Government Area of Niger State, causing17 soldiers to die and a military camp to be occupied by the militants;6 June25 , armed bandits ambushed theShinkafiLocal Government Area of Zamfara State, resulting in at least48 security personnel deaths; on the same day, the Nigerian military clashed with hundreds of militants in the north-central part of Niger State, leading to the deaths of 14 soldiers, 10 injuries, and over a hundred militants killed;6 June27 , a kidnapping incident occurred nearOkpunoin theAwkaLocal Government Area of Anambra State, where oneSUVdriver was kidnapped by unidentified armed militants while taking children home; on the same day,1vehicle triggered an explosive device along theGujbalocal government area'sKatarko–Goniriroad, resulting in1fatality;6 June28 , a community resident in Benin City, Edo State,Benin Citywas shot dead by gang members.
(2) South Africa
Cape Province kills 6 suspects.On June 23, South African police launched a raid on a suspected extortion and organized crime syndicate along the R61 highway in Eastern Cape Province. During the operation, a fierce exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in the deaths of 6 suspects and the seizure of firearms and ammunition, with no police casualties.
Eastern Cape floods claim 95 lives.From June 22 to 23, extreme weather in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province triggered floods and landslides, causing 95 deaths, multiple disappearances, damage to over 6,000 homes, and leaving more than 4,300 people homeless.
(3) Kenya
Protests spark riots, leaving 8 dead and 80 injured.On June 25, a new wave of nationwide anti-government protests erupted in Kenya, leading to riots that resulted in at least 8 deaths and over 80 injuries. The protests were sparked by the death of a prominent blogger while in police custody. Thousands of protesters gathered near the parliament and presidential office in the capital Nairobi, breaching police barricades. Police used tear gas, live ammunition, and batons to disperse the crowd, causing multiple casualties.
(4) Democratic Republic of the Congo
Armed attack in South Kivu kills 17.On June 23, media reported that a village in Walungu, South Kivu Province, eastern DRC, was attacked by the rebel group "M23 Movement" on the 22nd, killing 17 civilians, burning down multiple homes, and forcing many to flee to nearby government military bases for refuge.
(5) Niger
Armed attack in Tillabéri region leaves 28 dead.On June 23, armed attacks targeted four villages in the Bankilaré area of Tillabéri region, Niger, resulting in at least 28 deaths and several missing. The attackers were reportedly from the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS).
(VI) Central African Republic
Stampede at school in capital Bangui kills 29 and injures 240.On June 25, a stampede occurred at Barthélemy Boganda High School in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, leaving 29 dead and 240 injured. Earlier that day, an explosion at a nearby power transformer released toxic gas, causing respiratory distress and fainting among 5,311 students taking exams. The ensuing panic led to a severe stampede, resulting in heavy casualties.

(VII) Sudan
Armed clashes continue.From June 23 to 29, clashes persisted between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in Khartoum and multiple regions in the north, center, and west. In West Kordofan State, hostilities led to the bombing of Al-Mujerade Hospital, killing over 40 civilians, including five medical staff, and injuring many. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus strongly condemned the "shocking" attack and reiterated calls to end all violence against medical facilities.
Europe and the Americas
(I) United States
Shooting in California leaves 1 injured.On June 25, a shooting at an open-air shopping center in downtown Santa Monica, California, wounded one police officer. The assailant remains at large.
(II) Ukraine
Russia-Ukraine armed conflict continues.From June 23 to 29, Russia's special military operation in Ukraine continued. The Russian Ministry of Defense recently released a combat report stating that over the past week, the Russian military used high-precision long-range air-based weapons and "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles to conduct sustained strikes on 152 areas in Ukraine, targeting air defense radars, drone production lines and their storage warehouses, weapon and ammunition depots, military-industrial enterprises, and drone production workshops. Multiple aerial bombs were intercepted, and 535 Ukrainian drones were shot down. Two settlements in the Donetsk region were taken under control. On the Ukrainian side, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the week, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck eight Russian personnel, weapon, and military equipment concentration areas, destroying multiple artillery pieces, drone control points, ammunition depots, and more. Hundreds of battles occurred on the front lines, with Ukrainian forces repelling multiple Russian attacks in various directions. Additionally, Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners of war again on the 26th, releasing a group of young soldiers under 25 years old and severely wounded or ill military personnel.
(3) Mexico
Gun violence in Guanajuato leaves 11 dead and 20 injured.On June 24, a shooting occurred in Irapuato City, Guanajuato State, central Mexico, leaving at least 11 dead and 20 injured. At the time, a neighborhood in the city was hosting a festive dance, and a group of armed individuals attacked people who were dancing and enjoying music. Currently, a joint investigation team comprising police, the National Guard, and state public security forces has been formed to investigate the incident.
(4) Ecuador
Three attacks result in 3 deaths.On June 23, a shooting in the 1 de Mayo community of the Eloy Alfaro parish in Manta, Manabí Province, Ecuador, left one person dead. On the same day, a hardware store in the 25 de Julio cooperative on Trinitaria Island in Guayaquil was hit by an explosion, with casualties unknown. On June 24, another shooting occurred in the ciudadela Jambelí of Huaquillas, El Oro Province, resulting in two deaths.
(5) Russia
Chinese journalist injured in attack in Kursk Oblast.On June 26, a group of Chinese journalists covering events in Kursk Oblast, Russia, was attacked by a Ukrainian drone, injuring one Chinese journalist. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova condemned the Ukrainian military's attack as a "terrorist act." Currently, the Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under terrorism charges and is working to identify the Ukrainian military personnel involved.
Maritime Security
(1) Gulf of Guinea
Bulk carrier boarded by piratesOn June 22, the Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier Nyon was boarded by four pirates armed with sharp weapons approximately 33 kilometers southwest of the port of Conakry, Guinea. The ship immediately sounded the alarm, and the crew quickly retreated to the safe room. The pirates stole some of the crew's belongings before fleeing. No casualties were reported.
