Middle East Region
(1) Iraq
Protests against Israel's attack on Iran.From June 14 to 18, multiple rounds of protests and demonstrations erupted in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, condemning Israel's attack on Iran and opposing the use of Iraqi airspace as a corridor for the attack. Crowds gathered in the streets of Baghdad, urging the government to take stronger measures to protect national sovereignty.
(2) Palestine and Israel
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict has resulted in 55,700 Palestinian deaths. From June 16 to 22, the Israeli military continued its attacks on the southern and central Gaza Strip, causing significant casualties. On the 17th, the Israeli military killed at least 51 Palestinian civilians waiting to receive aid supplies in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza and injured 200 others. As of June 20, since the outbreak of the latest round of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in 55,706 Palestinian deaths and 130,101 injuries.

(3) Iran and Israel
Military conflict continuesFrom June 16 to 22, military conflicts between Iran and Israel continued. Iran stated that during the week, it launched "True Promise-3," conducting 18 rounds of precision strikes on over 100 targets across Israel, including defense industrial facilities, command and control centers, air force bases, and the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in cities such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Beersheba. Hundreds of ballistic missiles and "Fattah" hypersonic missiles were launched, with some hitting their targets. Iran's intelligence department thwarted an Israeli assassination attempt targeting Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi, while its counterintelligence unit arrested dozens of individuals suspected of espionage for Israel and intercepted a truck loaded with drones and explosives, raiding at least two drone assembly workshops. Israel reported that over the past week, it deployed hundreds of fighter jets to carry out dozens of airstrikes on Iran's nuclear reactor in Arak, the uranium enrichment center in Natanz, a centrifuge manufacturing workshop in Isfahan Province, and military production facilities around Tehran, destroying targets such as centrifuge production bases and missile manufacturing plants. A secret Iranian command center was also struck. Regarding casualties, Iran's Health Ministry announced that as of June 21, at least 430 people had been killed and 3,500 injured since the conflict with Israel erupted on June 13. Israel reported at least 24 deaths and 1,272 injuries. The military conflict between Iran and Israel drew widespread international attention, with 21 Arab and Islamic countries, including Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan, jointly condemning Israel's attacks on Iran. On June 20, the UN Security Council held an emergency public meeting on the conflict between Israel and Iran. UN Secretary-General Guterres warned that tensions in the Middle East could spiral out of control and urged "giving peace a chance."

United StatesattacksIran's nuclear facilities。On June 21, the United States dropped six bunker-buster bombs on Iran's Fordow nuclear facility whilelaunching30 Tomahawk missiles at other Iranian nuclear facilities. Later that evening,U.S. President Trump stated in a national televised address that the U.S. had just "completely eliminated" three of Iran's nuclear facilities, with the goal of destroying Iran's nuclear capabilities.In the early hours of June 22, Iran reported that parts of the Fordow nuclear facility, as well as the Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities, had been attacked. Currently, there is no leakage from the targeted nuclear facilities.
(4) Yemen
Capital Sana'a hit by Israeli airstrikes.On June 16, media reported that October 14th Street in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, was hit by an Israeli airstrike on the 15th, with no immediate reports of casualties or property damage. The Israeli military stated that the target of the airstrike was "a secret meeting site of senior Houthi leaders."
(5) Lebanon
Southern Lebanon was hit by Israeli airstrikes.On June 20, southern Lebanon was attacked by Israeli drones and missiles, with no immediate reports of casualties or property damage. The Israeli military claimed the targets were Hezbollah military bases, including rocket and missile launchers as well as weapons storage facilities. On June 21, an Israeli naval vessel struck an infrastructure site of Hezbollah's elite forces in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has not yet responded to this incident.
(6) Syria
DamascusSuicide attack kills 22. On June 22, a suicide attack occurred at a church in eastern Damascus, the capital of Syria,resulting in22 deaths and 63 injuries.Syria's interior ministry stated in a declaration that terrorists from the extremist group "Islamic State" stormed an Orthodox church in the Dweila area of Damascus, opened fire, and then detonated explosives strapped to their bodies. Security personnel have cordoned off the scene and launched an investigation. This is one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in Syria since the dramatic political changes in December last year.
Asia-Pacific Region
(1) Pakistan
2 attacks leave 2 dead and 2 injured. On June 16, media reported that a police vehicle in Pakistan was attacked by unidentified armed militants in the Sui area of Dera Bugti, Balochistan, on the 15th, killing 2 police officers and injuring 2 others. On June 18, a bomb attack targeted a railway in Jacobabad, Balochistan, damaging the rail line and derailing a passenger train, but no casualties were reported.

(2) Indonesia
Bali shooting leaves 1 dead and 1 injured.On June 16, media reported that a shooting occurred at a villa near a tourist area in Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia, on the 15th, resulting in the death of 1 Australian tourist and the injury of another. Currently, 2 suspects have been arrested by the police, and their identities and motives remain under investigation.
(3) Australia
3 attacks result in 2 deaths and 1 injuryOn June 16, a murder occurred in Werrington, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, resulting in 1 death. The suspect has been arrested by the police. On the same day, a shooting incident in Adelaide, South Australia, caused 1 death. On June 17, a targeted shooting in Mackay, Queensland, left 1 person injured. The attacker remains at large.
(4) Myanmar
Security checkpoint in Mandalay Province attacked, leaving 3 dead and 4 injuredOn June 17, a car bomb attack targeted a security checkpoint in Natogyi Township, Mandalay Province, Myanmar, killing 3 on-duty soldiers and injuring 4. After the incident, the military accused the anti-government armed group People's Defense Force (PDF) of carrying out the attack. The PDF has not responded to the allegations.
Africa Region
(1) Nigeria
Multiple attacks result in heavy casualties and abductions.According to monitoring reports from Hanwei International's security officer in West Africa and media coverage, armed bandits attacked Aguamede village in the Eha-Amufu area of Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, Enugu State, on the evening of June 15, killing over a dozen local villagers. On June 16, armed bandits raided Tadurga village in Zuru Local Government Area, Kebbi State, leaving dozens of villagers dead and many others abducted. On June 18, armed kidnappers attacked Fangaltama village in Talata-Mafara Local Government Area, Zamfara State, abducting 6 local villagers. On the evening of June 19, suspected armed herders assaulted the Juwan and Manja communities in Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State, killing at least 13 people, including women and children. The same day, suspected Biafra separatists attacked the Agwa community in Oguta Local Government Area, Imo State, killing several residents. On June 20, an assailant detonated an improvised explosive device at a food store in Konduga, Borno State, northeastern Nigeria, killing at least 24 and injuring many. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
(2) South Africa
Traffic accident in KwaZulu-Natal Province leaves 12 dead and 10 injured.On June 17, a bus collided with a truck on the R34 highway in KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, killing 12 and seriously injuring 10. The accident site has been closed, and rescue operations are ongoing.
(3) Chad
Violent clashes in Western Kébbi Province result in 18 deaths and 17 injuries.On June 19, tribal violence erupted in the Western Kébbi River Province of southwestern Chad, resulting in 18 deaths and 17 injuries. So far, 20 suspects allegedly involved in the violent incident have been arrested. Recently, violent conflicts have been frequent in Chad. Since May, multiple violent clashes have claimed 70 lives.
(4) Kenya
Nairobi protests leave 11 injured. On June 18, demonstrations broke out in the central business district of Nairobi, Kenya's capital, protesting police brutality following the death of 31-year-old blogger Albert Owuor while in police custody. Hundreds of protesters gathered downtown that day, with police firing tear gas to disperse the crowd. Armed civilians on motorcycles attacked protesters with whips and clubs, injuring at least 11 people.
(5) Somalia
Suicide attack on military base in Mogadishu kills 15 and injures 20.On June 15, a suicide attack occurred at a military training base in the Wadajir District of Mogadishu, Somalia's capital, killing at least 15 people and injuring over 20. That day, an attacker disguised as a new recruit infiltrated the base with explosives and detonated the bomb. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
(6) Central African Republic
Attack on MINUSCA patrol leaves 1 dead and 1 injured.On June 20, a patrol of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) was attacked by unidentified armed militants 34 kilometers northeast of Birao, the capital of Vakaga Province in northern CAR, resulting in the death of one peacekeeper (of Zambian nationality) and the injury of another. This marks the third attack on MINUSCA patrols since 2025. In response, Valentine Rugwabiza, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of MINUSCA, strongly condemned the frequent attacks on peacekeepers in CAR and urged the Central African authorities to spare no effort in identifying and bringing the perpetrators to justice. Armed conflict continues.6, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces engaged in sustained clashes in the capital Khartoum and multiple regions in the north, center, and west. Notably, fierce fighting between the two sides occurred in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State in western Sudan, causing dozens of civilian casualties. Currently, four of the five western states in Sudan, excluding North Darfur, are under the control of the Rapid Support Forces. To date, the ongoing armed conflict has resulted in 28,613 deaths and 43,575 injuries in Sudan.
Europe and the Americas
(1) United States
Two shootings in Minnesota leave 1 dead and 1 injured.On June 16, media reported that U.S. Democratic Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband were shot and killed in their suburban Minneapolis home in the early hours of June 14. On the same day, Democratic State Senator John Hoffman was severely injured in an attack at his home in Champlin. Suspects in both cases have been arrested. Governor Tim Walz described the incidents as "politically motivated assassinations."
(II) Ukraine
Ongoing armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine.From June 16 to 22, Russia's special military operation in Ukraine continued. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past week, Russian forces conducted precision strikes using long-range air-based weapons against Ukraine's military-industrial complex, training centers, air defense radar stations, drone production facilities, ammunition depots, and 156 temporary deployment points of Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries. Sixteen U.S.-made guided aerial bombs were destroyed, and 504 drones were shot down. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported that Ukrainian air force, missile troops, and artillery targeted 22 Russian personnel, weaponry, and equipment concentrations. Ukrainian forces repelled hundreds of Russian attacks and launched counteroffensives on multiple fronts, intercepting and downing hundreds of drones. Additionally, Russia handed over 6,060 bodies of deceased Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine, while Ukraine returned 51 bodies of deceased Russian soldiers.

(III) Mexico
Mayor of San Mateo Piñas shot dead.On June 15, Lilia Germa García Soto, the mayor of San Mateo Piñas, Oaxaca, Mexico, was shot dead by armed assailants in her office, along with another staff member. Armed individuals stormed the municipal government building, opened fire on the mayor and a government employee, and fled the scene. This marks the second mayor killed in Oaxaca this year.
(IV) Colombia
Shooting in Valle del Cauca leaves 2 dead and 1 injured.On June 19, a shooting at a park in Valle del Cauca, southwestern Colombia, killed 2 men and injured 1 woman. Two suspects arrived on a motorcycle and fired into the crowd. Police are investigating the incident.
(V) Ecuador
Three shootings result in 4 deaths and 5 injuries. On June 15, a shooting occurred at a bar on Balosa Road in Machala, El Oro Province, Ecuador, resulting in 1 death and 2 injuries. On the same day, another shooting took place in Bastión Popular, northwest of Guayaquil, leaving 1 dead and 3 injured. On June 17, a shooting in the Teniente Hugo Ortiz community of Santa Rosa, El Oro Province, Ecuador, claimed 2 lives.
(6) Russia
Multiple regions attacked by Ukrainian drones. On June 16, Moscow Oblast, Belgorod Oblast, and other areas of Russia were targeted by Ukrainian drone strikes, with no immediate reports of casualties or property damage. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that from the evening of June 16 to the morning of June 17, Russian air defense systems shot down a total of 147 Ukrainian drones over Moscow Oblast, Belgorod Oblast, Bryansk Oblast, and other regions.
(7) Canada
Shooting in British Columbia leaves 1 injured.On June 19, a shooting in the 600 block of Seymour Street in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, left one person seriously injured. The suspect remains unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing.
Maritime Security
(1) Indonesia
Bulk carrier attacked by armed robbers. On June 15, a bulk carrier near Pulau Cula Island in the waters between the Singapore Strait and the Malacca Strait was boarded by four knife-wielding robbers, causing some property damage. The robbers approached the vessel by boat, climbed the ladder to the deck, disabled the ship's communication equipment, and broke into the engine room. The crew quickly retreated to a safe room. The robbers stole engine parts and crew belongings before fleeing.
(2) United Arab Emirates
Two oil tankers collide and catch fire.On June 17, the very large crude carrier (VLCC) 'Front Eagle' collided with the Suezmax tanker 'Adalynn' 24 nautical miles off the east coast of the UAE, causing both vessels to catch fire. The 'Adalynn' sustained severe structural damage, but no casualties were reported on either ship. The collision may be linked to widespread navigation signal interference in the Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf shipping lanes. Since June 13, when Iran and Israel exchanged missile strikes, navigation systems near the Strait of Hormuz have experienced frequent disruptions, affecting numerous vessels.
