Middle East Region
(1) Syria
Rural province attacked by Israeli forces, resulting in 1 death.On June 12, the village of Beit Jin in the Qatana area of Syria's rural province was raided by the Israeli Defense Forces, leaving 1 dead and 7 abducted. The Israeli military stated that the operation arrested multiple members of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), who were taken to Israel for interrogation.
(2) Palestine and Israel
Palestinian-Israeli conflict has claimed 54,900 Palestinian lives. From June 9 to 15, the Israeli military continued attacks on southern and central Gaza, causing heavy casualties. On June 10 alone, Israeli forces killed 36 Palestinians and injured 208 near an aid distribution point. As of June 10, since the outbreak of the latest round of conflict, Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in 54,981 Palestinian deaths and 126,920 injuries. In response, the UN General Assembly Emergency Special Session passed a resolution on June 12, demanding an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire between the parties, urging Israel to lift access restrictions on humanitarian aid to Gaza, and ending the blockade of the Gaza Strip.

(4) Yemen
Hodeidah Port attacked by Israeli forces.On June 10, the Houthi-controlled Hodeidah Port in Yemen was attacked by Israel, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The Israeli military claimed the targets included Hodeidah Port facilities and docks used by the Houthis to transport weapons.
Asia-Pacific Region
(1) Pakistan
3 attacks resulted in 7 deaths and 4 injuries. On June 9, a vehicle carrying a tribal elder and his relatives in Balochistan, Pakistan, was attacked by an improvised explosive device in the Zamran area of Kech, resulting in 2 deaths and 2 injuries. On the same day, a tax official in Balochistan was shot dead on his way to Eid prayers. Also on the same day, a shooting incident occurred in Boya Tehsil, North Waziristan tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing 4 deaths and 2 injuries.

(II) Australia
Shooting incident in New South Wales leaves 1 dead. On June 9, a shooting occurred on Connorton Avenue in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia, resulting in 1 death. It is reported that the victim had a dispute with the suspect before the incident escalated. Currently, the police are searching for the suspect.
(III) Japan
Explosion at US military base in Japan injures 4.On June 9, an explosion occurred in the ammunition storage area of the US Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan, injuring 4 people. At the time, 4 members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force were classifying dud bombs and removing rust when the bomb suddenly exploded. The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
(IV) New Zealand
Traffic accident in South Island kills 1Chinese citizen.On June 11, a traffic accident occurred in Oxford Town, Canterbury region of New Zealand'sSouth Island, resulting in the death of 1 Chinese citizen. After the incident, the Chinese Consulate General in Christchurch immediately contacted relevant authorities and handled the aftermath. At the same time, Chinese citizens traveling in New Zealand are reminded to enhance safety awareness, drive cautiously, and avoid further accidents.
(V) India
Aircraft crash in Gujarat kills 279.On June 12, a Boeing 787 passenger plane of Indian airline AI171 crashed near Ahmedabad Airport in Gujarat, India, killing at least 279 people. That day,the plane rapidly descended shortly after takeoff, collided with a building, and exploded into flames. The aircraft was carrying 242 people, with only 1 survivor. The accident also caused 37 deaths and multiple injuries on the ground. Currently, the black box of the aircraft has been found, and the government has established two independent investigation committees to handle technical and incident investigations respectively.

Security alert 1.On June 9, according to the monitoring report of Hanwei International's security officer in West Africa, Fulani herders in Benue State, Nigeria, may launch an attack on the Taraku community in the near future. Special reminder to Chinese nationals in Benue State, especially those near the Taraku community, that the risk of armed attacks during recent travels is high. It is advised that Chinese nationals "avoid non-essential travel," strengthen camp security management, and enhance emergency response capabilities.
Security Reminder 2.According to the monitoring report of Hanwei International's security officer in West Africa, Nigeria's "Take Back" movement plans to hold nationwide protests on June 12. Major gathering points include: Eagle Square in Abuja; Badagry, Maryland, Agbara, and Toll Gate in Lagos; Cathedral Junction in Ondo State; Museum Ground in Edo State; Gida Matasa in Niger State; Mokola Roundabout in Oyo State; Olaiya Junction in Osun State; and Kasuwan Gamboru Flyover in Borno State, among others. Therefore, it is specially reminded that Chinese enterprises and citizens in Nigeria should avoid non-essential outings, strengthen security protection for camps and residences, and in case of emergencies, promptly report to the police and contact the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in Nigeria.
(II) South Africa
Extreme weather in the southeast results in 13 deaths and multiple missing persons.From June 8 to 10, the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal provinces in southeastern South Africa were hit by continuous heavy rain, snow, and strong winds, resulting in 13 deaths and multiple missing persons. The severe storms also caused power outages for nearly 300,000 households in 14 towns and villages in the Eastern Cape, while 200,000 households in 24 areas of KwaZulu-Natal were affected. On June 11, the South African Weather Service issued a Level 9 warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms in the eastern part of the Eastern Cape, urging the public to avoid unnecessary travel and wading through water.
(III) Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
Cash-in-transit vehicle robbed at gunpoint in the capital.On June 9, media reported that a cash-in-transit vehicle in the DRC was robbed at gunpoint by bandits in the Limete area of the capital, Kinshasa, on June 8, resulting in the death of one driver and the theft of a large amount of cash. The suspects are currently at large.
Boat capsizing in Equateur Province claims 40 lives.On June 11, two boats carrying over 100 passengers capsized in Lake Tumba in Equateur Province, DRC, resulting in at least 40 deaths and dozens missing. Rescue operations are ongoing, and the cause of the capsizing is under investigation.(IV) Sudan
Armed conflict continues.6From June 9 to 15, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces continued to engage in clashes in the capital Khartoum and multiple areas in the north, central, and western regions. The armed conflict, which has lasted for over two years, has not only caused significant casualties but also led to widespread famine and disease across Sudan. In recent weeks, drone attacks have resulted in water and power outages in Khartoum and its surrounding areas, leading to a surge in cholera cases. Currently, the cholera outbreak has spread to 13 states, resulting in 1,854 deaths. On June 13, the World Health Organization warned that the cholera outbreak in Sudan is highly likely to spread to neighboring countries, including Chad.

(1) United States
Las Vegas shooting leaves 2 dead.On June 9, a shooting occurred on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, USA, resulting in 2 deaths. Police stated that the suspect and the victims knew each other and had engaged in verbal conflicts on social media prior to the incident.
(2) Ukraine
Ongoing armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine.From June 9 to 15, Russia's special military operation in Ukraine continued. The Russian Ministry of Defense recently released a combat report stating that over the past week, the Russian military used high-precision long-range air-based weapons to conduct joint strikes on a military airport in Rivne Oblast and an electronic reconnaissance and drone command center in Chernihiv Oblast. They launched multiple offensives in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia, destroying a large number of tanks, armored combat vehicles, artillery, and howitzers. On the Ukrainian side, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the week, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops, and artillery effectively struck Russian troop concentrations, gunpowder factories, weapons and military equipment areas, and drone control points. They destroyed multiple Russian tanks, armored combat vehicles, and dozens of artillery systems, and shot down 240 tactical drones. Additionally, on the 11th, Russia handed over 1,200 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine, but Ukraine did not reciprocate by returning the bodies of Russian soldiers.

School shooting in Styria leaves 10 dead and multiple injured.On June 10, a shooting occurred at a secondary school in Graz, the capital of Styria, Austria, resulting in at least 9 deaths and several injuries. The perpetrator was a student who committed suicide after the attack.

(4) Colombia
Multiple attacks in the southwest leave 8 dead and 28 injured.On June 10, the Colombian National Police confirmed that 24 terrorist attacks occurred in the country that day, resulting in the deaths of 5 civilians and 3 police officers, with 28 others injured. The attacks primarily took place in Cali, the capital of Valle del Cauca Department, and Cauca Department in the southwest. Methods included car bombs, motorcycle bombs, explosive devices, and gunfire, targeting mainly police facilities and government buildings. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the series of attacks. On June 11, the Chinese Embassy in Colombia issued a consular advisory, urging Chinese citizens in Colombia to enhance safety precautions and avoid high-risk areas.

Knife attack at a high school in Haute-Marne leaves 1 dead and 1 injured.On June 10, a student stabbed two people at a high school in Nogent, Haute-Marne, France, killing a school supervisor and injuring a police officer. That morning, a 14-year-old student suddenly attacked the supervisor conducting routine checks at the school entrance. A police officer was stabbed while apprehending the suspect, who was a student at the school and had been suspended twice earlier in the year for disrupting class.
(6) Russia
Multiple regions attacked by Ukraine, leaving 1 dead and 11 injured. On June 9, drone strikes by Ukrainian forces hit several areas in Russia's Belgorod Oblast, injuring 6 people. The same day, Kursk Oblast was shelled, killing 1 and injuring 5. Additionally, Russia's Defense Ministry stated that between late June 9 and early June 10, its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 102 Ukrainian drones over Russian airspace.
(7) Mexico
Police cross border and kill 4criminalsuspects. On June 10, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed that members of the Pacal Rapid Response Force under the Chiapas Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) crossed into Guatemala while pursuing criminals and killed 4 in a firefight.TheMexicanauthorities stated that the armed clash initially occurred in the Las Chamas area, about15minutes from the border. Mexican security forces pursued thecriminalsto the town of La Mesilla, Guatemala,where4suspectswere killed. Currently,the bodies have been sent to the Forensic Medical Center in Comitán de Domínguez, Chiapas, but their identities remain unconfirmed.In response,Guatemalan Vice President Karin Herrera, acting as president, stated that the incident occurred around 3 p.m. on June 8 (Sunday) near the Guatemala-Mexico border. Following the event, Guatemala deployed additional troops and equipment to reinforce border security。

Ship explosion off Kerala coast leaves 4 missing.On June 10, a Singapore-registered container ship exploded approximately 80 kilometers southwest of Azhikkal, Kerala, India, resulting in the disappearance of 4 people, including 2 crew members from Taiwan, China. The vessel departed from Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, on June 7 and was scheduled to arrive in Mumbai, India, on June 10. There were a total of 22 crew members on board. Currently, 18 have been rescued, and the cause of the explosion remains unknown.
