Key locations such as the city's airport, port, and a hotel near the temporary presidential palace were bombed. On May 10, a prison and a teaching hospital in El-Obeid were struck by drone attacks, killing 20 inmates and injuring over 50. The ongoing two-year armed conflict has resulted in approximately 30,000 deaths and displaced more than 12.9 million people in Sudan.

2 shootings leave 3 dead and 6 injured. On May 5, a shooting at a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, killed at least 3 people and injured 5. On May 7, a shooting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, left 1 police officer injured. That day, an officer was shot in the abdomen while handling a dispute near a high school in Philadelphia. The attacker was arrested by police.

California stabbing attack leaves 1 dead and 2 injured.On May 7, a stabbing incident occurred in front of a high school in southern California, USA, resulting in the death of one student and injuries to two others. Police stated that the suspect's motive remains unclear, and a manhunt is currently underway.
(II) Ukraine
The armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues.From May 5 to 7, Russia's special military operation in Ukraine persisted, with a temporary ceasefire from the 8th to the 11th.
